Tricia & Donnie’s Wedding
Ceremony: The Fifth Social Club
Cocktails & Drinks: Cabin Five & The Fifth Gastropub
Reception: The Fifth Grill & Terrace
Tricia & Donnie’s wedding was a truly grand affair. With full access to all of The Fifth’s venues, their special day unfolded in front of an array of unique backdrops. An afternoon ceremony at the glamorously styled Fifth Social Club set the tone for this occasion. Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails with the couple at Cabin Five. The newlyweds and their wedding party then stepped out into bright graffiti alleys of Toronto for an incredibly colourful photoshoot. A little r & r at The Fifth Gastropub over drinks and the groom’s favorite – soccer on the big screen – was a perfect way to freshen up after hours of posing in front of cameras. Their evening festivities commenced with a grand entrance into The Fifth Grill Dining Room for a delicious plated reception, followed by cake cutting on The Fifth Terrace and a night of dancing and cocktails.
This wedding was all about balancing grandeur with fun personal touches. The use of metallics, crystals and rich textures was key to adding glamour to a minimal palette of pinks and white. The bride and groom walked down a personalized aisle runner flanked by classic gold Chiavari chairs. Their backdrop was a luxurious white chenille draping with delicate lace ruffles. A beautiful touch that honoured their parents and close family members were custom chair signs. Guests were also given bubbles for the recession, which made for amazing photos! Cabin Five, with its dark wood interior and rustic décor was a complete change of scenery for the guests and newlyweds as they mingle post-ceremony. The intimate space, reminiscent of an old English cabin was perfect for this casual time. The Fifth Grill Dining Room was spectacular with tall crystal candelabras running down long white linen covered tables. To balance this black-tie glam, the couple opted for dainty ceramic pots of succulents as favour and place card. Another fun touch is the DIY photo booth on the Terrace complete with comical props which made the evening extra memorable.
